L'Oreal Youth Code Serum, Moisturizer, & Cleanser Review!

Happy Friday!

Today I have a review for you guys! I have been using the L'Oreal Youth Code Skincare Set for sometime now and I thought it was time to give a review! I've been using the cleanser less than the moisturizer and the serum. Why? I alternate between it, so every other day, and my Murad cleanser for acne just to make sure I'm keeping my pores really clean because nobody likes zits! :/

Let me just say, I've been getting a lot of compliments on my skin lately and I totally believe it's because of these 3 products! How do I use them? Well, both day and nigh of course but I'm going to run through my nightly routine since this is when you would be dealing with taking makeup off. Or at least you should be! Girls, don't sleep in your makeup! It's terrible for your skin! ;)

Step 1: Remove as much makeup as you as you can with your choice of makeup remover. I personally like using the Equate Makeup Remover Wipes from Wal-Mart.

Step 2: Exfoliate! I exfoliate with my Clarisonic Mia 2 but there are much cheaper options of course! I know Olay, Neutrogena, etc; all make their own version of a Clarisonic or you can use an exfoliating cleanser.

Step 3: Use L'Oreal Youth Code Youth Regenerating Foaming Gel Cleanser. Now, since I have the Clarisonic, I exfoliate while washing my face with this cleanser. Basically, I get to combine steps 2 and 3.

Step 4: Rinse, pat face dry. Apply L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Serum. I also apply my eye cream at this time. I let both of these absorb well while I brush my teeth.

Step 5: Apply L'Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector Moisturizer.

Step 6: Smile because you are FINALLY done! ;)

✰ In the morning, I repeat the same steps except I don't need a makeup wipe of course.

First off, I must tell you these products smell amazing! If you are someone who can't stand scented skincare products, you may need to pass on this line of skincare. Second, my skin is so soft to the touch. It's softer than it's ever been! Seriously, like a baby's bottom! No, really, it is! It's smooth and I feel the color has evened out somewhat. To get this effect, I feel these products shed dead skin cells like no other. Hence, texture perfector! The look and feel of my skin has been totally rejuvenated! I'm very happy with these products! All 3 will be repurchases for me once I run out of them!

This line is also supposed to help diminish lines and tighten your pores. Being 24, I don't have a lot of lines yet to diminish so I can't speak on how well it works in that area. I also don't have larger pores so I can't speak as to how it helps those either. But if you want healthier, smoother, softer, rejuvenated skin! Try this! I honestly feel better about my skin on those days I don't feel like wearing makeup!

I have to point out the moisturizer is a bit on the heavy side. I have somewhat oily skin and this product doesn't make my skin oily or any more oily than normal I should say. I also tend to get dryer skin once it cools down and here lately it's been colder here and I haven't noticed a single dry flake or spot.

I'm very impressed because I honestly wasn't expecting to care for it so much! I mean I love a lot of L'Oreal products makeup wise but when you think skincare, L'Oreal was never a brand that crossed my mind. But now I know and I'm glad I tried these products! Did I mention the packaging is hot pink and that doesn't hurt either? ;)

Below is a picture of all 3 products! You can click on each individual item and it will take you to the product in case you are interested in trying these lovelies out! If you try them or have tried them, let me know what you think? So I'll quit rambling and let you guys go! Have a great weekend! :)
